The aim of this course is to help you find your elusive ancestors in the online censuses. Part
of the time will be devoted to showing many of the reasons why our ancestors appear to be
elusive and giving tips on trying to find them. The rest of the time will be spent looking at
some specific queries that can be sent in before the day. A half-day workshop with Jeanne Bunting.
Must be pre-booked, £17.50 (£14.00 SoG members) by telephone: 020 7553 3290 or online
Once booked, if you have an elusive ancestor, please e-mail events@sog.org.uk with as much detail as possible (dates and places of birth, father, mother, siblings etc., as well as details from a previous or following census) and Jeanne will do her best to find them and detail her methods on the day.
